“The Aquaphor Model S800 water softener features fully automatic processor control, effectively removing salts and iron substances. The systems use innovative twin-core valves that speed up renewal. The efficient and durable water softener tank is equipped with ultra-compact fine mesh and chlorine-resistant ion-exchange resin.
Up to 30% less salt required
The specially designed container contains an ultra-fine mesh and densely compacted chlorine-resistant ion exchange resin with granules that are 2 times smaller than in conventional softeners. The design of the tank prolongs its contact with water and improves the efficiency of salt utilisation.
2-in-1: water softening and iron removal
With the same volume of ion exchange resin, AQUAPHOR A800 provides a larger surface area in contact with the water, no channel effect, and the small granules regenerate more quickly and efficiently. As a result, high Fe concentrations (up to 10 ppm) are removed.
Up to 5 times less water for regeneration
In the case of classic column systems, regeneration of the softener, especially the iron removal system, is a very water-intensive process. The innovative, patented AQUAPHOR S800 twin-core valves ensure long-lasting and flawless operation with minimal water consumption.
The innovative tank and the smaller size of the ion exchange resin make it a more sustainable option than other household water softeners. It requires less water and less salt at the same time to achieve the same or better results.
Counter-flow regeneration in the pressurised bed provides the most effective regeneration of the sorbent against accumulated contaminants. The patented mesh flow distributor evenly distributes the treated water flow throughout the sorbent volume.
ADVANTAGES
An innovative two-cylinder head valve regulates the inflow and outflow of water from the soft water reservoir. It has fewer parts, shorter and wider fluid paths, and a self-closing/self-pressurising mechanism.
Removal of high concentrations of Fe (up to 10 ppm).
Very low salt intake.
Fast IER regeneration.
Easy installation and set-up.
Minimum maintenance requirements.
AQUAFOR® designed and patented flow distribution device.
Durable valve mechanism with components subjected to the lowest possible load, tested to the lowest possible wear after more than 5,500 cycles (more than 14 years of daily filter regeneration) at a maximum operating pressure of 7 bar.
Easily disassembled structure, with any part replaceable if necessary.
The removable design of the valve allows it to be quickly replaced when needed.
Controller with advanced monitoring and regeneration system, large display and user-friendly interface.
Non-volatile memory where all settings and filter status are retained in case of power failure
3 setting modes: economy mode, high performance mode and automatic salt dosage adjustment mode based on water consumption.
Filtration through a patented flow splitter allows water to flow through the entire sorbent volume.
The 100 µm diameter flow splitter grid allows the use of fine Super Fine ion exchange resin without the risk of leaching.
The gaps between the fine grains of Super Fine resin are much smaller than those of standard resins, which increases filtration and regeneration efficiency.
The sorbent layer is sandwiched between the flow splitters, so regeneration takes place in the counter-current and is highly efficient, starting with the least contaminated sorbent;
