The XLP series of ultra-low pressure aromatic polyamide compound RO membranes can operate at ultra-low pressures to achieve the same flux as conventional low-pressure membrane elements and a cleaning efficiency of up to 99.0%. The XLP series can be effectively used for desalination of low salinity (NaCl ≤1000 ppm) surface water, groundwater, tap water and municipal water.
The XLP series of membrane elements is particularly suited for secondary desalination with a two-way reverse osmosis system and is mainly used for pure water production, boiler water make-up, food processing and the pharmaceutical industry.
