The system is most effective when used with a reverse osmosis system.
A water filter for the complete demineralisation of water. Ideal for large marine aquariums. It is recommended for use as the final water filtration step in a reverse osmosis system. The large amount of demineralising medium guarantees the right water quality at high water flow rates and for long periods of continuous operation.
USE
This formula gives an approximate volume of treated water:
OZ = 500 / TDS *
* TDS = total dissolved solids
OZ (filter media volume) is the number of litres of water containing TDS in mg/l that can be filtered with one litre of PUROLITE MB400 before it is exhausted. For this reason, it is recommended to pre-treat demineralised water with reverse osmosis, which significantly extends the lifetime of the filter media.
