FILTRATION STAGES
Stage 1 – calcium sulphide beads: removes chlorine, regulates pH, mildly alkalising.
Stage 2 – activated carbon granule filter: removes organic matter, turbidity, and chemicals that give water an unpleasant taste and smell.
Stage 3 – KDF filter: removes heavy metals.
Stage 4 – Ultrafiltration membrane: capable of separating impurities with a particle size between 0.01 and 0.1 microns – it is able to trap viruses, bacteria and other impurities, but leaves some trace elements behind.
