This reduces water, salt and electricity consumption, resulting in optimal and intelligent efficiency. Each softener model is also equipped with a self-cleaning dirt and sediment filter, saving you time and money.
Factors such as water temperature, pH, alkalinity, dissolved oxygen content and others will influence the results of iron removal. Iron removal methods vary depending on the type of iron you are dealing with in your water.
Before choosing any water purification system, it is important to test the water. This is especially true for iron removal. Iron in WaterBoss® 900 is removed by ion exchange. WaterBoss can remove up to 10 ppm of iron from water.
Most conventional softeners can remove 1-3 ppm of iron from the water supply. WaterBoss can remove higher amounts thanks to its compact fine mesh resin layer. This feature allows WaterBoss to remove iron at higher pressures.
