How it works
The raw water passes through a Dowex cation exchange resin filter. After a certain level of contamination, the filter is cleaned by an automatic regeneration process controlled by a control valve.
Regeneration
Dowex resin used as a filtration medium is regenerable, i.e. it can be restored to its original properties. This process shall be carried out periodically when a defined contamination limit is reached. Regeneration takes place in several steps, the most important of which is the rinsing of the filter media with an aqueous salt solution. The salt is in the form of tablets, supplied in 25 kg bags. The regeneration process is automatic, thanks to a control valve with a digital controller.
AutomationThe filter is equipped with an electronic control valve that ensures fully automatic and cost-effective operation of the treatment system.

To protect the filter from mechanical impurities and to increase efficiency, it is recommended to install a mechanical filter upstream of the filter.
